Anirudh Jathakara, son in law of pride of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvardhana and Bharathi Vishnuvardhana returns to acting in commercial field after four years.

Anirudh was busy in the memorial activities of Dr Vishnuvardhana and took up some stage plays in the last four years. He has acted in ‘Ijjodu’ of MS Sathyu as his last film and previous to it ‘Lavva Davva’ that changed title as ‘Kunidhu Kunidu Baare’ was not well received.

In this ‘Kalabereke’ Anirudh is the guide and philosopher for nearly 30 characters in the film who are maniac to liquor. ‘Kalabereke’ with Variety of People as caption is caption.

Producer cum director Madhu Diwakar says he has made research on his topic. All the 30 in the film give up drinking or not is the crux of the matter – it not having any relation to ‘90’ Kannada cinema. Mine is a full bottle he says. There is romance and some interesting situations for Anirudh who returns to acting after four years.

Debut director and investor Madhu Diwakar worked with Guruprasad in ‘eddelu Manjunatha’ and ‘Directors Special’.

Five songs are scored by Keerthi Jain and five songs choreography is done by Sada.

Anirudh says this is a touching film at the end of the last reel. It focuses a serious issue in a comedy style that touches the heart. It is Ranjane Guchcha says Anirudh addressing the media.

Character actor Mallesh 99th film is Kalabereke. He promised that he did not consume alcohol and acted. Manmohan in his address stated that the film points to ‘Priti’ that is important in life.
